Morito Milestone
1908
Moritou was founded by pioneer Jukichi Moritou. He started selling eyelets and press fasteners.
1927
Started the first eyelets exporting business to Germany.
1935
Moritou Shoten (current Morito Co., Ltd.) was established.
1937
Expanded export business including Indonesia, Chile, South Africa and UK.
1943
The founder Moritou passed away and the company was closed.
1947
Moritou Shoten Co., Ltd. was reestablished and Moritou Metal Industry Co., Ltd. was launched.
1949
Cotton shoe lace produced by Moritou Shoten became a big boom in Japan.
1963
Moritou Shoten Co.,Ltd. was renamed to Moritou Co., Ltd.
1976
Moritou CO.,LTD. was renamed to Morito Co., Ltd.
1977-1989
First global office was established in Hong Kong and the other locations including USA, SINGAPORE, EUROPE, CHINA, and TAIWAN offices and factories followed.
1989
Morito Co., Ltd. was listed on Japanese stock exchange market. (Osaka, 2nd)
2010
KANE-M Danang Factory started operation (VIETNAM)
2011
New sales office KANE-M Thailand was launched
2013
Morito Co., Ltd. was listed on stock exchange market. (Tokyo, 1st)
